The two parties held discussions on the new route
Since 2022, the A340-600 model of European Cargo Limited has successfully operated routes in Chinese cities such as Chengdu and Shenzhen. In pursuit of shared strategic goals, Shunda Air and European Cargo Limited have gradually embarked on friendly cooperation. On January 23, 2024, personnel from Anhe Shunda's business department held talks with European Cargo aviation regarding the sales efforts of the A340-600 freighter model in China and the transportation plan for the year 2024.
European Cargo Limited, as the world's sole operator of the A340-600F, has transformed the aircraft into a freighter based on approved STC (Supplemental Type Certificate). It has now emerged as a formidable competitor in the global air cargo market, successfully launching routes in Chinese cities such as Chengdu and Shenzhen.
To expand more routes between China and Europe, the discussions confirmed collaboration plans between airports in Hubei, Anhui, Shaanxi, and various European cities. The route plans include, but are not limited to, HFE-LHR, EHU-BOH, XIY-LHR, OSL-TAO. The OSL-TAO route plan, in particular, marks a promising beginning for our simultaneous efforts in salmon trade and shipping.
